About Atma Kutir:

Atma Kutir is the heart of Manikoot Mountain, (which is praised even in the Puranas and Upanishads, as the treasure chest of Divine knowledge and power.)  Many devtas and rishi moonies, Gods and enlightened seers have lived and meditated upon this mountain, making it ever high and pure in energy and vibration.  Guruji through his sadhana and tapasya created a protective sphere around Atma Kutir and connected it to all the powers of the universe (Gods, Masters, planets, lokas).  Thus Atma Kutir serves not only as a university of higher knowledge, where sincere aspirants can receive that not available anywhere else in the world.  But also as a real piece of heaven, where anyone with an open mind and heart can feel and experience God.  The Divine presence in Atma Kutir, be it Master or God, is maintained with daily rituals of Pujas, prayers in Sanskrit, Aarti communal gathering and singing of mantras, silence, everyday observed from 8-9pm, and weekly fire ceremonies called Havan, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday and on full moons.

All rituals and niyams, rules and regulations of Atma Kutir are designed to help one to purify from the lower energies that (ego, anger, attachment, jealousy and lust).  And thus help to liberate us from ignorance, suffering and rebirth.  Also they help to remind us of our true immortal and blissful self.  All knowledge, blessings and transformative power of Atma Kutir is received by the students through their tunnel of surrender and trust to Guruji, Atma Kutir Parivar and Atma Kutir itself. Om.

About Guruji:

Guruji, not the most beautiful words, nor the most majestic phrases could do justice to Guruji's personality.  Known by birth as Mahavir Prasad Khandwal, and by Sanyas as Rahi Babaji.  Throughout his life, Guruji has been a true example of honesty, courage, and humanity.  Serving as a mahant at Chandi Devi Mandir, he was called to renounce his family and worldly life and embark on a journey of realization of the ultimate truth.
He was taken to the high and arduous way of tapasva by Maha Avatar Babaji, who served as his Guru and guide.  Many times Maha Avatar Babaji lived in Guruji's body, while the other explored and received knowledge of the universe.
Through Guruji's sadhana and tapasya, much divine knowledge and power was created, which he never used for himself but put into the land of Atma Kuteer, the Manikoot Mountain, to be discovered and used by the disciples and sadhakas who meditate and trust here.
Guruji Ji is a Master of Masters and the greatest servant of God.  Lucky are those who have even once laid eyes upon him, for he is a living God.

Over a period of years following places have been constructed in the Ashram:-

Shiva Temple : Magnificent temple and shiv lingam made from stone already available in Atma Kutir . It is so pious and full of the energy that it has been advised that only people with pious thoughts should enter the premises.

Master House : The marvellous place where Lord Shiva himself lives. The palace is closed all the times and Lord is not disturbed.

Besides Guruji has inspired to construct Dhooni( holy fire) and Gaushala. Guruji often says that Dhuni and Gaushala are most powerful places in the Ashram.
